Geonautica

Terms of Service

Effective date: September 29, 2026

Acceptance

By using Geonautica, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The Service

Geonautica is a free, community-built Subnautica location guessing game. It is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Unknown Worlds Entertainment or Krafton.

Accounts and Display Names

You may use Geonautica as a guest or create an account through Google Sign-In. You are responsible for activity under your account. Display names must be 3 to 24 characters and may not impersonate others, contain unlawful or abusive content, or interfere with other players' use of the service.

Fair Play

Do not exploit bugs, automate gameplay, manipulate score submissions, interfere with servers or other players, or attempt to bypass security controls. We may remove leaderboard entries, restrict access, or close accounts that violate these rules.

Content and Availability

Geonautica may change, pause, or end features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent storage of game data, or that scores and leaderboards will always be available.

Disclaimer and Liability

Geonautica is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the project contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as Geonautica evolves. Continuing to use Geonautica after an update means you accept the revised terms. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made.
